Setup
Installing Crop.photo Shopify App
Search for the Crop.photo app in the Shopify App Store.
Click Install to add the app to your store.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Connecting Crop.photo to Your Shopify Store
Accessing the plugin will automatically initiate the setup and provisioning of your Crop.photo account. Please wait for the process to complete before getting started.
Using Shopify App
What is a Recipe?
A Recipe in Crop.photo is a predefined template that saves a set of image editing configurations. Recipes streamline bulk image processing by applying consistent settings to multiple products at once.

Navigating the Recipe Dashboard
After setup, the Recipe Dashboard consists of the following tabs:
All Recipes: Shows all recipes.
Crop.photo: Displays pre-built Crop.photo recipes.
My Recipes: Your custom-made recipes.
Using Recipes in the Shopify App
Browse the available recipes on the dashboard.
Select the recipes you want to apply.
Click Use Selected Recipes.
Choose the products you want to edit.
Click Apply Recipe to start processing.
The process will begin, and you will need to wait until it is completed.
If needed, click Abort to cancel the process.
Reviewing Processed Images
After processing completes, you'll be taken to the review screen where you can:
View all processed images with their before and after comparisons
Filter images by recipe using the tabs at the top:
All tab shows every processed image
Individual recipe tabs help you focus on images processed with specific recipes
See multiple variants that may have been generated for each image
Applying Processed Images
You have two options for applying the processed images:
Individual Application
Apply changes one image at a time using the individual apply buttons
This gives you precise control over which versions to use
Changes can be reverted if you're not satisfied with the results
Bulk Application
Use the Apply All button to quickly apply changes to multiple images
This will automatically use the last variant output for each product
Reverting Processed Images
After applying processed images, you have options to revert changes if needed:
Revert Individual Images
Each applied image has a Revert button
Clicking this will restore the original image for that specific product
This gives you flexibility to keep some processed images while reverting others
Bulk Reversion
If you used the Apply All button, a Revert All button will be available
This allows you to quickly restore all images to their original state
Useful if you want to start fresh or try a different recipe
NOTE: Once you navigate away from the image selection page, you cannot return to review these specific processed images. Make sure you've completed all desired changes before leaving this page.
By following these steps, you can optimize your product images efficiently using Crop.photo Shopify App, improving your store’s overall appearance.
Monitor Your Crop.photo Credit Balance
Click the "Create New Recipe" button to start configuring your image cropping setup.
This will open the the Crop.photo dashboard, as shown below.
Go to the Billing section to view your remaining credits and transaction history. This is what it will look like below, including details on how many credits you have used and how they were applied.
